Statement on COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
To our valued patients:
Your safety and health is of utmost importance to us. For this reason, we have reviewed our standard disease-control processes, revisited and enhanced these practices considering the concerns of COVID-19.
We have implemented heightened cleaning and sanitation regimens, increased health-related signage, and have added hand sanitizer to all entryways, clinic exam rooms, and workspaces. Our staff have been trained to follow increased sanitation practices, including frequent hand washing, frequent and thorough use of hand sanitizer and thorough use of sanitation wipes in the clinic exam/procedure rooms, lobby areas, counters and all other highly frequently touched surfaces.
Employees have also been asked to practice increased wellness prevention at work and at home to decrease the spread of sudden contagious illnesses.
The cooperation of our entire community is essential in maintaining a safe environment. Due to this, we are taking extra precautions for the safety of you and your accompanying family members and guests.
If you have an upcoming visit in our clinic, during confirmation of your visit we will have a short series of questions that will allow us to better assess your care needs or determine if further precautions are necessary to reschedule your visit. In addition, we have heightened our in-lobby waiting area practices. If you would like to check-in for your visit and wait outside of our communal lobby area, you may leave your mobile number with the front desk and we will call you. The expectation is that you remain near the clinic premises (e.g. in the parking lot) while you wait for our call.
We ask all patients, and their accompanying guests to help us reduce the spread of contagious illnesses by following frequent handwashing, hand sanitation practices, and coughing/sneezing protocols. If you are not feeling well, we ask, that if any of the following: i) you have a fever or cough/shortness of breath, or ii) have traveled outside the USA in the last 14 days of your visitor iii) or have been on a cruise within 14 days of your appointment, that you call and reschedule your visit. In this event, please call our Triage team at 903-739-9191 to better assist you.
